Mario Mori was from 2001 to 2006 the director of SISDE (Servizio per le Informazioni e la Sicurezza Democratica), the Italian domestic intelligence agency. He previously held a variety of command positions in the Carabinieri, the Italian police force. He is co-author with Giovanni Fasanella of Ad alto rischio (2011).
