Matteo Rainisio founded Edinet in 1996, the first and only local ISP in the area of Savona, Italy. The company, with a staff of 2, offered basic websites focused on tourism and the real estate market. Today, 24 years later, Edinet is web company with a staff of 27 and growing, still based in the same small town of the Italian Riviera with customers all over Italy and beyond. As a spin off, in 2006, Edinet launched two online newspapers that now reach a daily audience of almost 110K unique users. Matteo is also vice president of ANSO (Associazione Nazionale della Stampa Online), the biggest Italian association representing digital publishers.
