Paola Bonomo is a non-executive director, angel investor and advisor in the field of digital technologies.
She began her career in McKinsey & Company, where she worked with the senior management of large Italian and international companies on issues of strategic positioning, growth, entering new markets, alliances and acquisitions, reaching the level of Principal. She then worked in several multinationals in management roles such as Senior Director, European Operations at eBay International; Head of Online Services, Commercial Operations at Vodafone Italy; and Regional Director, Southern Europe in Facebook.
Since 2009 Paola has been a member of Italian Angels for Growth, within which she invests in technology startups and follows the screening of investment opportunities in the digital domain. She is a member of the Board of Directors of AXA Assicurazioni S.p.A. and Piquadro S.p.A., and the Advisory Board of two financial technology companies, MoneyFarm and Euklid.
She serves as Chairman of the Stanford Club Italy, the Italian association of alumni of the University of Stanford. In 2015 and again in 2016 Paola was named one of the Inspiring Fifty, fifty women leaders in the world of technology in Europe. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
