Rafiul Alom Rahman is the Founder and Director of The Queer Muslim Project, Asia’s leading online platform for Queer and Muslim voices. The project is focused on culture building. It uses digital storytelling, creative campaigns and artistic production to re-narrate public conceptions of Queerness in South Asia in a way that visibilizes the diversity of Queer lived experiences and transcends intentional misrepresentation and socially-reinforced stereotypes. Rafiul is a 2018 Acumen India Fellow, a 2020 Swedish Institute Leader Lab Fellow, and a 2022 Cross Culture Program (CCP), Germany Fellow. He lives in India.
