Roberto Suarez
Roberto Suárez Candel is head of the Media Intelligence Service at the European Broadcasting Union.
He leads a group of international researchers with very diverse professional backgrounds. Their mission is to support Public Service Media across Europe in daily operations, advocacy activities and strategic planning. To do so, they implement a wide array of data collection processes and research projects.
Previously, he worked as an academic scholar in Germany (Hans-Bredow-Institut für Medienforschung), Sweden (Stockholm University) and Spain (Pompeu Fabra University). His research was focused on communication public policy and ecology of the media sector. He also contributed to a wide range of international conferences.
