Valeria Brigida is a journalist with expertise in human rights and migration. She has worked for RAI, La Repubblica, Cooperazione Italiana and the UNHCR. He work has taken her to live for long spells in Lebanon, Egypt (where she wrote Horreya!, a book on the role of women in the revolution), Tunisia, Haiti, Ethiopia and Southern Sudan.
