Veronika Folentova
Veronika Folentová is a Slovak journalist who primarily covers topics concerning national healthcare and education. Since 2014, she has been working for Dennik N, one of the most respected newspapers in Slovakia. Between 2009 and 2014, she worked for the Slovak daily SME. She has been nominated four times for the Slovak Journalism Prizes. In 2019, she received a honorable mention for her interview about a small girl with Down syndrome and her time in school. In 2013, she won the Slovak part of the EU Health Prize for Journalists. She graduated from Catholic University in Ružomberok in 2011 with a degree in journalism.
