Vincenzo Sassu
Vincenzo Sassu is a freelance journalist who writes for the Italian daily Il Messaggero. He graduated in media studies from the University of Rome and completed his studies at the Sorbonne in Paris and the Institut Français de Presse, Université Paris II-Assas. He is the author of the book Là-bas la banlieue. Le rivolte francesi e il ruolo dei media nell’evento (2011) and co-author with Alessandro Barbano, deputy editor of Il Messaggero, of Il Manuale del Giornalismo, due to be published by Laterza in March 2012.
