The session will present Vocativ’s unique technology and data expertise, which allows journalists to explore the deep web to discover original stories, hidden perspectives, emerging trends, and unheard voices around the world. Vocativ’s Data Editor, Matan Gilat, will showcase Vocativ’s methods using three major data stories as examples. Each example will focus on a different capability — mining the deep web, large data collections and complex analysis. The presentation will be delivered from a non-technical perspective, allowing all audiences to participate.
