Recent high profile investigations such as the Panama Papers and the Migrant Files have been developed as collaborations between organisations and across national boundaries. Why are we seeing more of these kinds of collaboration? What are the advantages and risks of working with other organisations in other countries? What are some of the editorial, legal and technical issues which make these large scale investigations successful.

With a chill across independent and investigative journalism it seems likely we will see more of this kind of work in future - experienced practitioners discuss what works and what doesn't.
