Alessandra Galloni has been Editor, Southern Europe and Enterprise Editor-at-Large for Thomson Reuters since September 2013. She had previously worked for 13 years for The Wall Street Journal, first as business correspondent from London, then as political and economic correspondent from Rome and Paris, and since 2006, as Southern Europe Bureau Chief. Alessandra has won awards for her reporting in the U.S. and in Britain, including the U.S. Overseas Press Club Award and a British Journalism of the Year Award for her coverage of the Parmalat corporate scandal. She was part of the WSJ’s award-winning coverage of the euro-zone crisis in 2011. In her new role, Alessandra oversees coverage of southern Europe and leads enterprise projects across the region. Alessandra Galloni graduated from Harvard University in 1995 and received a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics in 2002.
