Alessandro Di Maio is an Italian freelance journalist who lives in Jerusalem. He writes on the Middle East, the Mediterranean, security and geopolitics for Libero, East and other Italian publications. He is currently working on a book on the Near East and a photographic project on the social divisions in Jerusalem.
