Alexandre Heully, 31 years old, is the executive director and publisher of Graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg in 2001 and holding a Master Degree in International Relations in Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, Alexandre Heully is the co-founder of the European magazine Passionate about new media, he co-founded with the vision that online citizen participation would revolutionize journalism and politics. As a convinced European, he has been working for over 10 years at to expand, raise funds and launch original journalistic project for one of the most innovative media organisation in Europe. is the first European current affairs magazine designed for readers across borders and published in 6 languages: French, English, German, Italian Spanish and Polish. Relying on the principle of participatory journalism, is made by a unique network of 1,500 volunteer-authors, photographers, translators and bloggers - in 20 cities in Europe, whose contributions are edited by a team of full time professional journalists based in Paris. With ‘Europe on the ground’, created an innovative journalistic project. Every year sends ‘on the ground’ multicultural teams of young citizen journalists in European cities to report on cultural diversity. ‘Europe on the ground’ aims at combating racism and xenophobia in Europe with intercultural online journalism.
