Carly Willsie
Carly Willsie manages the Logan Nonfiction Fellowship, a residency for investigative journalists, documentary filmmakers, podcasters and multimedia reporters based in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. In this position, Carly has spoken about the value of community among media makers, press freedom and journalists at risk, the impact of nonprofit news, freelancer rights and collective action at multiple conferences across the world. She has helped to support more than 150 award-winning independent reporters since the program’s founding in 2015.
Prior to her work with Logan Nonfiction, Carly worked in acquisitions and program management in publishing and academia. She studied journalism as a Park Scholar at Ithaca College.
