Davide Dormino

Davide Dormino is an Italian sculptor and visual artist. He teaches Sculpture and Design at the Rome University of Fine Arts. His works are in private collections and public spaces worldwide. In 2011, he created the monument entitled Breath, commissioned by the United Nations, for the Port au Prince victims of the Haiti earthquake. His latest work is Anything to say?, an itinerant sculpture dedicated to courage and the freedom of expression. It was first exhibited in the Alexanderplatz in Berlin in May 2015, and thereafter in Dresden (Theatreplatz), Geneva (Place des Nations), Paris (Place Georges Pompidou) and Strasbourg (Place Klèber). The sculpture will be exhibited in Perugia Italy in April 2016 during the International Journalism Festival (06-10 April). For Anything to say? he received 2016 Prix éthique from the French organisation AntiCor.
