Delphine Dhilly is a French documentary filmmaker and radio journalist. She works for the daily documentary show Les pieds sur Terre on French national radio and has directed several feature documentaries. In 2008, Far from Iraq explored the emotional and political journeys of four American soldiers’ wives whose husbands were deployed in Iraq. In 2011, The Lovers which aired on the network ARTE followed 20-year-old students participating in role-plays in their English class in a suburban French college, offering a reflection about gender and contemporary boy and girl relationships. Her last film, I never said yes, was recently broadcast on French national television FRANCE 2 and explores what sexual consent means throughout adolescence and young adulthood, addressing in so doing the banality of date rape.
