Enrico Deaglio founded the Italian weekly Diario in 1996, of which he remained editor until 2008. He was the presenter of RAI 3 current affairs TV programmes such as Milano, Italia and L’elmo di Scipio, director of the documentaries Quando c’era Silvio and Uccidete la democrazia! and author of Patria 1978-2010; Il raccolto rosso and La banalità del bene, storia di Giorgio Perlasca. In 2011 his first novel, entitled Zita, was published.
