Julian Schmidli
Julian Schmidli is an investigative journalist and data-driven reporter in Switzerland. He currently works for SRF Data, the data journalism unit of Swiss National Radio and Television, where he focuses on data stories, interactives and crossborder investigations. Until summer 2014 he was part of the investigative teams of the Swiss papers Tages-Anzeiger and SonntagsZeitung.
Julian teaches data journalism and open source intelligence. He is a member of the Swiss investigative consortium Investigativ.ch and a founder of Reporterforum CH, a yearly gathering of reporters. His work has received awards several times.
