Laure de Carayon started her career in advertising agencies (TBWA, Grey, McCann), worked in TV production in France and abroad, and joined Carat media agency in 2002 to develop the TV ad funded programming unit, and specialize into brand content strategic and creative consulting, media partnerships and delegate production. She contributed to the books When brands become media (2009), They taught the future: social web… (2011), taught Brand Content (ISG MBA), and writes regularly for different publications.

In 2010 she went to China to interview key marcom players and wrote a Brand Content: Special China series. No single rendez-vous existed in France, and even in Europe, to tackle China’s marketing and digital landscape: she decided to bridge the two and launched China Connect in 2011, rapidy followed by China Connect InTheCity in November 2011, a series of premium evenings welcoming top personalities and experts on China. The China Connect second edition took place in March 2012 and the third edition 28-29 March 2013 - @ChinaConnectEU.

She regularly goes to China, she has developed a consulting and training activity on marketing and digital in China. She also writes on Chinese consumers and China’s digital ecosystem.
