Vincent Weifeng Ni

Caixin Media

Vincent Weifeng Ni is a foreign correspondent for Caixin Media. He was previously Caixin's London-based Europe Correspondent, a role which involved travelling to cover major news stories across Europe and North Africa. In particular, he spearheaded Caixin's coverage from Egypt on the events during the Arab Spring and extensively reported on the ongoing debt crises in Europe from London, Berlin and France. In November 2011 he won a runner-up place  in the London Foreign Press Association's annual awards in the category 'Financial/Economic Story of the Year' with a colleague.

Before starting at Caixin, he worked for international broadcasters, including the BBC in China. He also obtained a Masters degree from the University of Oxford, where he was the recipient of the Hoare Family/China-Oxford Scholarship in the field of Social Science.
