Lola Huete Machado is the editor of Planeta Futuro of El País, the section on human development, poverty and inequality created in 2014. A reporter for the newspaper since 1993, she developed her career at Tentaciones and El País Semanal, always focusing on social issues. In 2011 she founded her blog Africa is not a country. She was a professor of reporting on the UAM/El País Masters of Journalism.
