Mariana Delgado Barón is a political scientist, PhD in Sociology and freelance journalist with a focus on the Colombian armed conflict, historical memory, transitional justice and peace-building. She has experience in the process of historical memory with communities affected by the Colombian armed conflict. She was senior researcher for the report about historical memory and antipersonnel landmines in Colombia and the coordinator of the project Fragmentos y huellas, the first itinerary sample about art, historical memory and survivors of antipersonnel landmines in Colombia. She has written for Distintas Latitudes. She is a member of the Hostwriter network of journalists.
