Massimo Frezzotti

Massimo Frezzotti is Director of Research at ENEA and President of the Italian Glaciological Committee. Since 1985, he has conducted research with remote sensors to measure the influence of the ice sheet in Antarctica on changes in sea level and paleoclimate studies. He has participated in 13 expeditions of the National Programme of Research in Antarctica as head of large international research projects, including the ITASE (International Transantarctic Scientific Expedition). He is a member of numerous scientific and international bodies specialised in Cryosphere Science and paleoclimate.
