Paul Myles

head of editorial On Our Radar

Paul Myles is a multimedia journalist and Head of Editorial at On Our Radar. Having previously worked as an investigative reporter for Channel 4, he joined On Our Radar as Head of Editorial to lead on their engaged journalism projects, working with traditionally marginalised groups to find ways of amplifying their stories. These projects have ranged from covering the Ebola crisis with a group of citizen reporters in Sierra Leone, to using 3D printed phones to capture the stories of those living with dementia in the UK. For his recent BBC documentary My Stolen Childhood, he trained a former child slave to narrate her own documentary investigating the trokosi practice. He is leading On Our Radar's work on the EJC's Engaged Journalism Accelerator, working with media outlets to train them in how to do community-led journalism.
