Vivianne Ihekweazu

Vivianne Ihekweazu is the Managing Director of Nigeria Health Watch, a health communication and advocacy organisation based in Nigeria, advocating for improved access to health services. She leads the strategic direction of the organisation and is responsible for designing and implementing health communication and advocacy strategies and campaigns for government, not-for-profits, and development partners in Nigeria.

Her work currently focuses on nutrition, maternal newborn and child health, routine immunisation, sexual and reproductive health & rights and health security. Prior to focusing on the health sector, Vivianne worked at some of the world’s leading communication and research agencies in Europe and Africa in business development and media.

She is an African Public Health Leaders Fellow at the Centre for Universal Health at Chatham House and has an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria), and an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Sussex. Prior to this, she received a BA (Hons) in Economics & Business Administration.
