Daniel Puntas Bernet, after working as freelance reporter, worked as an editor at the Zurich-based NZZ am Sonntag. In 2011 he founded as editor-in-chief Reportagen, a German-speaking non-fiction long-form magazine. In 2019 he launched the True Story Award, the first global prize for written newspaper, magazine and online long-forms.
