Fabio Massimo Castaldo (Five Star Movement) is Vice-President of the European Parliament, responsible for human rights and democracy. He is a member of the Foreign Affairs and Constitutional Affairs Committees and of the Security and Defence subcommittee. Vice-President since 2017, during his first parliamentary term, he was the youngest Vice-President in the history of the European Parliament. He was confirmed in 2019.
