Francesco Bonami

Francesco Bonami is an arts curator and critic of international renown. He is artistic director of the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, of the Fondazione Pitty Discovery and of Enel Contemporanea. He was the director of the Venice Biennale in 2003 and was the first Italian to be the director of the Whitney Biennial of American Art. He is a consultant to the Milan City Council on the contemporary arts programme. He is the author of Lo potevo fare anch'io (2007), Si crede Picasso (2010) and Maurizio Cattelan, autobiografia non autorizzata (2011).
