Hadi Al Khatib is a founding member of the Syrian Archive, a Syrian-led and initiated collective of human rights activists dedicated to curating visual documentation relating to human rights violations and other crimes committed by all sides during the conflict in Syria with the goal of creating an evidence-based tool for reporting, advocacy and accountability purposes.

He has been a programme coordinator at Tactical Technology Collective working on the security and protection of human rights defenders. He has also facilitated digital security workshops in the MENA region as well as writing and editing digital security materials in Arabic.

He has produced a radio program with Nasaem Syria Radio to raise awareness on issues related to the security of Syrian journalists and human rights activists. He also recently worked as a project leader in Gaziantep with No Peace Without Justice, supporting Syrian civil society organisations in documenting human rights violations. From 2006 to 2010 he worked in the protection field with various international organisations in the Middle East, including Médecins Sans Frontières and the Danish Refugee Council.
