Jacopo Monzini

IFAD

Jacopo Monzini works for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as a Senior Technical Specialist – Environment and Climate Change (Climate and Environment for  Near East, North Africa and Central Asia region– NEN).

He holds a master degree in Environmental Science (University of Genova) and a Master of Arts in International Sustainable Development (Brandeis University-USA). He joined IFAD in 2013 after several years of experience managing environmental programs related to Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management mostly as portfolio manager and M&E Coordinator for the Italian Cooperation, UN-DPKO and other international organizations and NGOs. During his previous experiences in Yemen, Malaysia, USA, Panama, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, and Haiti he ensured as well fund raising, networking and the establishment of public-private partnership for development.
