John Peter Sloan
John Peter Sloan is an author, comic, singer-songwriter and English teacher. He is the author of the well-known language course for Italian students of English entitled Instant english. For 15 years he was the singer in the rock band The Max. When the band folded he decided to stay on in Italy, where he had begun his acting career. His one-man comic routines include Culture shock (2007) on the cultural differences between the Italians and the English, Defending the Caveman (2009) and An Englishman in Italy. He has appeared on a wide range of Italian TV shows. He is the author of Instant english (2010), English in viaggio (2011) and Instant english 2 (2012).
