Sarah Stonbely
Sarah Stonbely, PhD, is the research director for the Center for Cooperative Media. She received her doctorate in political communication and journalism studies from New York University in 2015. Her research is on the ways that journalism has been affected by the tumultuous changes in politics, culture, and technology since the late twentieth century. Sarah’s professional experience with New America Foundation, American Press Institute, and others has focused on the digital transformation of journalism and on helping journalism live up to its democratic ideals.
