Davide Vecchi is the editor of Corriere dell'Umbria and the other four Corriere titles of central Italy (Arezzo, Siena, Rieti and Viterbo). Until November 2018 he was special corespondent of Il Fatto Quotidiano, where he mainly dealt with judicial and political news. He followed, among other things, the Monte dei Paschi di Siena affair, the Ruby case, the Venetian scandal linked to Mose, Mafia Capitale, Banca Etruria and Consip. He has carried out investigations into Matteo Renzi and the power of government. He is the author of L'intoccabile. Matteo Renzi - la vera storia (2014), Matteo Renzi. Il prezzo del potere (2016), David Rossi, il suicidio imperfetto del manager Mps (2017) and Lady Etruria (2018).
