Raffaele Angius is a freelance journalist for Agi - Agenzia Italia, for which he follows the world of digital security and digital rights, and a student of the Master in Journalism of the University of Turin. After a period of freelance in the Middle East, he specialized in designing anonymous reporting platforms to help newspapers and NGOs to carry out their investigations. In collaboration with L'Espresso, he created and managed RegeniLeaks, a platform to collect information about the murder of Giulio Regeni and other human rights violations in Egypt. Today he continues to coordinate the project in collaboration with Irpi - Investigative Reporting Project Italy. In collaboration with the Hermes Center for Transparency and Digital Human Rights, he oversees the use of GlobaLeaks platforms and carries out information security updates for journalists.
