Irene Caselli

The Correspondent

Irene Caselli is the First 1,000 Days correspondent at The Correspondent, a transnational member-funded platform, where she covers sexuality, women's rights and early childhood. She has been a multimedia reporter for 15 years, working for the BBC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian and Univisión, among others, mainly out of Latin America. She published a chapter in Unbias the News, a book about how to make journalism more diverse. One of her short films on women's football and gender inequality received a prize for collaborative journalism. Irene has been awarded fellowships by the IWMF, the European Journalism Centre and the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma.
