Francesco Paolo Micozzi


Francesco Paolo Micozzi is a lawyer specialised in the fields of copyright law, data protection and privacy law and the application of the law with regard to information technology. He is a visiting lecturer in the law faculty of the University of Milan and a fellow of the Hermes Center for Transparency and Digital Human Rights. Author of several publications on the above-mentioned areas and speaker at the main national and international congresses, he flanks his legal profession with an intense teaching activity, mainly in the field of digital criminal law, copyright, free/open-source software, data protection, digital public administration, IT security and digital forensics. He is a member of the FIIF working group, Foundation for Legal Innovation founded by the National Bar Association, and also of the working groups “Surveillance” and “E-justice” for the CNF in Brussels at the CCBE (Conseil des Barreaux Européens).
