Helje Solberg

Helje Solberg is an award-winning journalist and News Director at NRK, the Norwegian public broadcaster. She is the chair of the fact-checking site Faktisk, a unique collaboration of the six largest media houses in Norway. Solberg has been CEO/Editor of VGTV and executive managing editor for VG, the largest Norwegian media house on paper and internet combined. She has worked for a number of Norwegian newspapers. She has studied at Phillips Academy, Andover (´85), and has studied Russian, social anthropology and political science at the University of Oslo, and international relations at Bosphorus University in Istanbul. Solberg is the author of Karen – a history about Alzheimer (1996).
